- Joseph was 30 when he entered Pharaoh's service (Gen 41:46) which was just
prior to the 7 good years. He revealed himself to his brothers during the
second year of famine, 9 years later (Gen 45:6); Jacob was 130 years old when
presented to Pharaoh (Gen 47:9). Joseph would have been about 40 at the time.
